Three beauties here – thanks very much for sharing your inspirational painting projects!
First we have Tara Hyson (who creates something amazing almost every week!) sharing this beauty of a Kitchen Dresser – love the way this has been aged and distressed, just perfect in its imperfect way – if you know what I mean?
‘This weeks project….
Annie Sloan Old white with a smidge of French linen, Clear Wax…. Lots of ageing
It’s for my kitchen and I really wanted it to look like it had been there for years! Just waiting for the drawer handles to turn up’
Then a bit of inspiration from the talented Kat Roberts at Lavender & Lace with this lovely cabinet. Check out the crackling in the detail shots, the room looks lovely too!
‘Thought I’d share today’s project, Annue Sloan Duck Egg Blue with Craqueleur and Dark Wax. With Java gel stain’
Finally we have this piece that Cherry Lowe has produced, the carvings have come up a treat with the Clear and Dark Wax and the drawer linings give a colourful surprise, nicely photographed too. Thanks for sharing Cherry, keep up the good work! x
‘This is my latest project which I’ve absolutely loved doing!
I’ve used Annie Sloan Provence and Florence, mixed with Dark and Clear Wax, and then distressed. I’ve lined the drawers with a beautiful, vibrant peacock fabric and then added new knobs! I hope you like it?! It’s not for the faint-hearted!’
