If you get an old steamer trunk like this – and want to give it some pazazz (is that a new word I’ve just made up?) you can do what I did to this one. Clean the trunk and the find some old travel/luggage labels online, print them off – and stick them on with Annie SLoan Decoupage. Once dry, you can complete the look by using some Dark Wax to give them an aged look. Then, ta-dah! You have your very own well-travelled trunk- I love this and think I may have to keep it!
