This chair had a lovely frame but the upholstery was badly stained.
To get it re-covered would have cost a fortune, so I tried something drastic -I painted it with Chalk Paint ™!
Water down your paint, so you almost dye the fabric, this one needed 2-3 coats. I left it unwaxed but gave it a good ‘carpet beating’ to ensure no paint would rub off when in use.
